Age Concern Hythe and Lyminge

Health and Welfare

The two Age UK Centres in Hythe and Lyminge offer friendly and flexible services for older people who want to live independently at home. The centres offer daily lunches, social events, hairdressing, chiropody, hearing aid clinic, assisted bathing, laundry and provide all sorts of help at home.

The Information and Advice Service provides impartial advice on housing, welfare benefits, money management, social and health care, employment and consumer and social issues. Advisors can be reached by telephone, letter, email or in-person at the centres, or they can visit people at home.

The Trust made a grant of £10,000 in February 2015 to help fund the provision of this service.
