Folkestone Choral Society

In 2008 new staging was purchased by Folkestone Choral Society for use at its concerts in venues in and around Shepway. The cost was met by The Roger De Haan Charitable Trust and by Kent County Council, under its Local Grants Scheme. The Roger De Haan Charitable trust has been pleased to help fund other projects for Folkestone Choral Society, including support for the cost of staging concerts.

The staging can be used in a variety of configurations, depending on the venue, and is available for use by other community groups. Those interested in using the staging should contact for further information.

With over 100 voices, the Folkestone Choral Society is the largest choir in the area and exists to bring the enjoyment of choral music sung to a high standard to the community of the Shepway District in Kent. For more information see
