Folkestone Churches Winter Shelter

Health and Welfare

The Folkestone Churches Winter Shelter project was established in 2009 by Churches Together Folkestone and other local groups. It is managed by Folkestone Rainbow Centre, an ecumenical charity that for thirty years has been helping people in the area who are lonely, isolated, socially excluded or homeless. Around 200 volunteers work as part of the Winter Shelter Project to help provide relief to people who might otherwise sleep rough on the streets of Folkestone.

The Roger De Haan Charitable Trust has made a number of donations to help support Folkestone Rainbow Centre and the Winter Shelter.
