Buildings and structures that have special value or significance play a prominent role in the life of people in Kent, and Trustees are pleased to help in their preservation, and to ensure that they can be enjoyed by future generations. Trustees have made grants to support the restoration of churches and other public buildings and monuments, particularly in the Shepway district. Large donations were made to the Save Canterbury Cathedral Appeal, launched to protect and enhance the Cathedral’s future as a religious, heritage and cultural centre.
