The popular 10k event is back for the 3rd consecutive year on Sunday 25th May 2014.  The first two years saw fields of over 600 runners complete this run. Again with over 200 pre-registered entrants it is gearing up to be another big field that will be looking for some good times over this flat fast course. The race is open to all from beginners to experienced runners, and the organisers are encouraging local businesses to enter teams to challenge for the Corporate Trophy.  Starting from the Rotunda site on Folkestone seafront the course heads out past Seabrook before returning along the promenade.  All the proceeds and sponsorship from this race go to local charities and Race Director Ray Johnson said “we are pleased to be supporting The Gurkha Memorial Fund & Step Short as well as other local charities this year”.

The Roger De Haan Charitable Trust is again supporting the event, which raised £38,000 for community causes in 2013. More details are available at
