Musical Walkabout

The Musical Walkabout were able to run its Coastal Project through the summer of 2024 with the help of funds from RDHCT. The Walkabout works with people with dementia, their carers and health and social care professionals to enjoy music as a weekly event. The group sing songs in the Lower Leas Coastal Park which enables them to get outside and move about, meet other singers and perform in front of the public who are passing by. The music consists of popular songs from the 1950s onwards.
