Local community choirs to perform throughout December

Choirs run by the Music and Arts for Shepway Community charity are performing throughout the festive period in the run up to Christmas.
The children’s choirs, Primary Singers and Youth Voices are preforming two dates free of charge, though donations to the charity are welcome.
- Youth Voices concert: 5:30pm, Thursday 8 December at The Burlington Hotel 5.30pm -free, donations welcome
- Primary Singers concert: 5:30pm, Wednesday 14 December at The Burlington Hotel
Shepway Voices, the adults choir is performing at St John’s Church Folkestone on 10 December at 7pm. Tickets for adults are £5 adults and children are free. They are also going to be out and about in Folkestone, as below:
- Sunday 11 December, 5pm: Harbour Arm Christmas Marketplace (free)
- Wednesday 14 December: Annual pub crawl starting on the Harbour, singing at the Mariners, the Ship, the Royal George, Kipps Alehouse, Wetherspoons, the East Kent Arms & Chambers.
- Thursday 15 December: Hawkinge Cricket Club (free)
- Sunday 18 December, 7pm: Carols by Candlelight, Hill Road Baptist Church, Folkestone.
The charity received funding in 2022 from the Roger De Haan Charitable Trust to support their work in the community.
