Bright Shadow’s latest Zest sessions in Hythe proved a huge hit for its participants. Led by Tina Carter (AirHedz) and Jess Urwin (Dea Dia Wellbeing), participants were shown how to use aerial hoops and aerial silk to experiment with movement in the air. They also relaxed with seated yoga, learned how to juggle and hoolahoop as well as produced sketches of aerial skills in action.
The next sessions planned for the group will be facilitated by director and actor, Lisa Payne who has put together three weeks of fun filled, playful summer time themed sessions. Through the themes of Desert Island, Seaside and Festival participants will experiment with movement, singing, collaborative writing and drama exercises.
Zest Hythe Community sessions are on Thursdays, 2-4pm, at Hythe Sports Pavilion, South Road. Contact the team to find out more (01227 467272 or info@brightshadow.org.uk)
