A capacity audience packed into the Royal Albert Hall on 7 December 2016 to mark CLIC Sargent’s annual Christmas concert. Run in conjunction with music and education organisation Young Voices, the occasion featured a choir of 1500 children performing alongside professionals including popular X-Factor contestant Melanie Masson. The event has become a popular fixture in the season leading up to Christmas, offering an opportunity for CLIC Sargent supporters to meet and enjoy top entertainment from young people in one of London’s most iconic venues.

CLIC Sargent organises specialist cancer support for children. In November 2016, The Roger De Haan Charitable Trust made a donation of £10,000 towards CLIC Sargent’s Project “There’s No Place Like Home”, through which an Oncology Outreach Nurse based at Kent and Canterbury Hospital provides emotional support and practical and financial advice to children and their families following a diagnosis of cancer.
